SAP Transactional Code & Report Access on The Move

How many times have you been away from your pc and someone asks you for a transaction code which you do know and may even have used last week, but you simply cannot remember off hand? This is easily solved by having a personal reference tool where all transaction codes (as well as reports and tables) may be marked as favourites and easily accessible.

What about the occurrence where you start using a new system for example you may be a consultant and you move clients fairly often. Wouldn't it be great to simply upload all your favourite transaction codes into your new SAP Easy access Menu and wouldn't it be even better if this was the same list as you use as your personal pocket reference?

There is an iPhone application which can do this.

SAP Reference iPhone Application - "mySAP myERP Database” - Available on iTunes here

This SAP iPhone application"mySAP myERP Database" is in its 2nd major release and now includes the ability to not only search ERP and CRM transactions reports and Tables, but also permits you to mark them as favourites, for quick access.

You can also group transactions tables and reports into folders for easier navigation and finally, this application is the only one which permits you to export your favourite transaction list from your iPhone to your PC to be uploaded into SAP ERP or SAP CRM for as many SAP systems and clients as you wish. You can see an overview on its functionality here.

This reference application includes, 73 126 ERP Transaction codes, 12 240 ERP reports and programs and 2 203 ERP tables already grouped where possible into logical database relationships. This application also includes 5 835 CRM transaction codes, 2 358 CRM reports and programs and 27 861 CRM tables.

The benefit of an application like this; is you always have a reference of your favourite transaction codes (as well as other information) and you can easily append your favourite transaction codes to any SAP Easy Access Menu on a PC.
